New Appointment: Orit Koppelman, Director of Nursing

Orit Koppelman has been appointed Director of Nursing at Schneider Children's and will join the hospital's management. She replaces Nurit Baruch who served as the head of Nursing for the past 12 years

Orit Koppelman has been appointed Director of Nursing at Schneider Children's and will join the hospital's management. She replaces Nurit Baruch who served as the head of Nursing for the past 12 years.

Ms. Koppelman, 57, is a mother of three children and holds an MA summa cum laude degree in Health Networks Management from Ben Gurion University of the Negev and a BA degree in Nursing from Tel Aviv University. She has 35 years nursing experience which began within the framework of her military service. She has fulfilled various nursing roles at Beilinson Hospital, and for the past 17 years, was a member of the hospital's nursing administration. In 2014, she was appointed Director of Nursing for the Inpatients Division at Beilinson during which time, she let the sector to much achievement, initiated and advanced many processes and established two new departments for day care hospitalization and home hospitalization.

Dr. Efrat Bron-Harlev, CEO of Schneider Children's, stated that "we are very excited to have Orit join our hospital, the one and only of its kind in Israel, and bid farewell to Nurit Barch you headed the nursing division at Schneider Children's for many years with great dedication and professionalism and though fruitful collaboration between the various sectors.
