New Appointment: Ilanit Poznansky

In her previous position, Ms. Poznansky served as Director of Nursing in the Institute of Neurology at Schneider Children’s.

Ms. Poznansky is mother to three children and lives in Savyon. She attained her BA in Nursing from Tel Aviv University and has been employed at Schneider Children’s for the past 20 years. During this time, she served as a nurse in the ER, Neonatology and Day Care Hospitalization. She also trained new nurses at the hospital.

The Department of Surgery, headed by Prof. Naftali Freud, treats infants, children and adolescents from all over the country who require surgical intervention for various diseases and injuries. A multidisciplinary team staffs the department to provide comprehensive care to patients from post-surgery until discharge. As part of the department, the Surgery Clinic provides diagnosis and follow-up care of patients alongside specialized clinics for chest distortions repair and anorectal surgery.
